I had a great experience with Dr. Darr and his staff. I was especially thankful that Dr. Darr took the time to pray with me and my wife before I went under anesthesia for shoulder surgery . His staff was always courteous and helpful. I was always well informed with what to expect after surgery. I would definitely recommend Covington Orthopedic and I plan on using them in the future for some other issues I have.

Tore my rotator cuff,labrum due to a fall. Had massive tear. Dr. Darr repaired the rotator cuff,removed the bursa and repaired the labrum. Long recovery but with excellent results,with PT. I am back riding my horse and caring for my 33 acre farm. Last year he gave me a PRP shot in my torn meniscus(knee) and that healed like a charm. I highly recommend him.

I have been seeing Dr. Darr since around 2008 for two rotator cuff tares and most recently for a total hip replacement . I retired from medical malpractice for over 30 years so I’ve seen a lot of orthopedic surgeons. I would rank him as the best I have ever come across both professionally for his ability and competence and personally as his patient. The small community is blessed to have him.

My first visit sold me on Dr. Darr and the whole practice. Listening, asking pertinent questions, then by explaining the situation and future plans to address my knee pain. The nurses were friendly and made me feel at ease. Thank you!

Had a shoulder surgery done by Dr. Darr. I couldn’t be happier with the results and I am only 4 months post op. My shoulder was extremely unstable and dislocated multiple times prior to the surgery. It feels awesome now and the healing process has been going well. Would definitely recommend to a friend for care.

I highly recommend Dr. Darr and Covington Orthopedics. I recently had my second total knee replacement and the surgery went as well as the first replacement. He is an excellent surgeon and his staff is wonderful!

I am handicapped, can not stand or walk and use a scooter for mobility. I had an appointment for surgery with another doctor. Two weeks before the surgery, I was stopped by a lady attending church. She asked me to fix her rosary beads and I said sure and would bring them back to mass next Sunday. She then asked me how I was doing and I said great, except for a torn right rotator cuff. I was scheduled for surgery in 2 weeks. She asked me if I knew anything about stem cell therapy. And she told me about it. She had it done about 10 years ago and it was a success. She told me I should see Dr. Darr in Covington and I did and the rest is history. I canceled the surgery and had the cell therapy and 10 ARP wave treatments afterwards. That saved me from being bedridden for 10 to 12 weeks and being depressed. It was a huge success and Dr. Darr. is one of a kind. He is a professional, but more than that he is caring and compassionate to all his patients. And his nurse, Charnel Demiceli, who gave the ARP Wave treatments, was just as caring and compassionate. I would recommend the wave treatments after the procedure. And one last thing, it was Divine intervention, not a coincidence, by the lady who told me about Dr. Darr.

Dr. Darr and his staff are the best medical professionals I have ever met. I don’t normally do reviews but I do think it is important that my story gets shared. 10 years ago I was looking at at total knee replacements (left knee) Darr set me down and suggested that I do stem cell therapy. He believed I was a good candidate for it and explained that it could buy me a few years. He was clear that there were no guarantees, but a good chance. He explained that insurance would not cover this and it was a complete out of pocket expense to me and him. I studied hard on this and decided to give it a chance. I’m happy to share that it has been 10 years and I have never had any pain in that knee. I tell everyone that most of the time I don’t know if I have a knee. It is truly pain free. I have recently developed a meniscal tear in my right knee and I am scheduled next week for him to do arthroscopic repair on it. If he determines that I need to do stem cell therapy on it I will not hesitate. I truly believe in this and highly recommend Dr Darr to perform it. My knee cap kept dislocating dealt with it for 20 years went to doctor Darr. He is by far the best joint doctor I have ever seen. I have went from being scared of walking on gravel to having a completely stable knee that I have no fear of the dislocation happing again. Thank you doctor Kevin Darr and your awesome team.

Dr. Darr and his staff are absolutely amazing. My husband had Both shoulders done by Dr. Darr and his team 5months apart. Surgeries were seem less with no complications. Minimal scaring and minimal pain during recovery. Staff followed up with my husband and I frequently after each surgery. We never felt like we were alone in the process we felt very supported. Dr. Darr and his staff are the best. After our experience this is the only ORTHO doctor we will go to and we refer all of our family, friend and anyone we can in public to Dr. Darr

Dr. Darr is and awesome Dr. had knee replacement and he did all the right things which lead to complete recovery. I had used him for rotator cuff surgery 4yrs ago 100 percent outcome would recommend for any orthopedic problem.

Dr. Darr has treated myself and both of my kids. He’s professional, patient, and above all, he’s caring. He listens to his patients and never rushes during appointments! He wants and does what’s best for each individual patient regarding their injury. My daughter had an injury that would have put her out of cheering most of her senior year, but with Dr. Darr’s inovative treatment plan, she was able to cheer and did not have any break through pain or issues. We were blessed to have had Dr. Darr and his kind staff treat our family.

Had a tear in rotator cuff. Dr Darr repaired their tear and after 3 months of PT feeling good moving arm with full range of motion. Great staff and Dr Darr if great.

Dr. Darr is a very good orthopedic. He takes time with you and explains everything very well. He is not a quick in and out physician. He is a very patient oriented physician. All the staff is very courteous and professional. They all make you feel welcome and assist in any way possible.

First time patient of Dr. Kevin Darr and I have to say that I have never been so impressed by the entire staff especially Dr. Darr , Claire and Rachel. Dr. Darr and Claire took their time with no rush Whatsoever and Dr. Darr really help me in so many other areas like my toe and my shoulder at minimal cost. Dr. Darr was my surgeon years ago and I must say I was extremely pleased with my entire experience. The staff was excellent as well. I would highly recommend Dr. Darr for all your orthopedic needs.

Dr. Darr healed my torn rotator cuff and labrum without surgery. Instead, he did minimally-invasive PRP injections. After a year, I was lifting as much weight as I was pre-injury. After 18 months, I was stronger than at the time of the injury. I have no side effects or lingering pain or weakness. What he's doing with experimental, non-invasive or minimally-invasive therapies is nothing short of incredible.

In searching on Google for a doctor to perform a stem cell procedure for an old and big rotator cuff tear, I asked for the the best qualified doctor. I hit the lottery when Dr. Darr was the recommendation! I have never been so impressed with a doctor in my 74 years and I have had some excellent ones!
